Description:
My name describes me, but my foster mom has me on a careful diet and an exercise plan - 'Kitty Weight-Watchers'.
Simply put, Hoss and Joe are terrific cats! They are very friendly, and enjoy attention. Just great companions to each other and to people. They will get along with other cats as long as the other cats get along with them :)
They are both declawed but do not appear to have any behavioral issues because of it like we often see. They are not overly active--in fact, Hoss is quite a bit overweight and needs to lose a few pounds which we are working on very slowly. Hoss is a character and looks at you when he's talking to you as if you speak "cat". Joe is more shy than Hoss, but comes out of shell quickly once he gets to know you. Both are EASY to become attached to. They are both 3 years old and were surrendered to a shelter for allergies. The staff LOVED them and went above and beyond to work with us to get them into rescue.
I'm sure you can understand that because of all these boys have been through and because they have been together for 3 years, we want to keep them together.
Please note that we do NOT adopt outside Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, or Louisiana. Please check Petfinder for cats closer to your location. We require all potential adopters to be approved prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We are not a shelter and all cats are fostered in private homes
