Description:
Jasper is a stunning red and white MC mix.  He came to us as an indoor/outdoor cat, and was not at all happy staying indoors. His foster mom & dad live on 75 acres that are part of an old ranch.  There is a very large yard (at least one acre), and cat house (heated & cooled), and a large covered porch with heat in the winter.  Access to the ranch is limited by a high gate, and their property also has a locked gate.  The area is a long way from the main road. They also have donkeys who keep predators away.  His foster mom does not work out of the house, and they have no young children. He loves people so much that we are looking for someone who is at their home quite a bit of the time. If we cannot find a similar home that is safe for him, he will stay where he is forever.
 
He is young, active and loves to follow his foster mom around when she is feeding the other cats, the donkeys and the sheep.  He does not roam, only leaves the large yard area when he walks with his foster mom to feed the other animals.  He ignores the two Labs.


He loves attention, and his foster mom would like to see him in a situation where he is an only cat, or one of 2 or 3 cats.  We will not adopt to anyone living in the city due to danger from cars, dogs, etc.  He is not to be a 'barn cat'.

A home visit will be done by his foster mom and/or a member of our Board of Directors.

Please note that we do NOT ship cats and we require all potential adopters to be approved prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s).
